The Big Blue Amplifier (Big Blue) is a booster stage can be customized to fit a variety of needs. In the standard configuration Big Blue is designed as a cryocooled kHz amplifier, capable of optical conversion efficiencies in excess of 25%. This versatile platform can be customized to accommodate the output of your existing preamplifier and handle up to 160 W of optical pump power per crystal.
